Jasmin Shojai, nominated and awarded Australia’s Top Glamour Model of 2017-18, has worked and progressed rapidly since she started her career a mere 5 years ago.
The supermodel of Persian and German descent, has modeled for many of the world’s best known magazines, including Playboy and Maxim – and now opens new doors on her pathway into the acting world.
This talented young woman, aspires to progress into the Beauty and Fashion world, where she also aims to produce her own line of products one day Jasmin Shojai is truly all about love, passion and following her dreams.

Jasmin, tell us how would you describe yourself as a person?
I describe myself as a very fun and driven individual. I am adventurous and I like seeing the world. I dislike the feeling of being trapped or limited. I really enjoy getting out and doing my goals, and pursuing my dreams.
What does true beauty mean to you?
True beauty is when a person has a good heart. Compassion is something that I believe is a component in ‘true beauty’. The outside is only what we see, it doesn’t necessarily make someone “truly beautiful”. An individual’s behavior, what’s on the inside, is what truly counts.
What are the most rewarding and difficult things about being a representative of beauty?
There’s a lot of rewarding things about doing what I do and representing that aspect. Being able to do these creative projects and performing in front of the camera is such a wonderful experience for me. The only real difficulty I believe there is for models/actresses like me, or for a lot of women really, is being that ‘best, beautiful version of yourself’ all the time. It’s a bit of a challenge to keep perfect every day. When you perform in front of the camera all the time, it’s a challenge having the perfect skin, the perfect hair, the perfect body shape for everything that you do.
Can you describe a time when you felt like giving up and how did you overcome this situation?
I remember quite a few times when things were difficult. I just felt that I did not have “the energy” to really keep pushing through. And in the end, re evaluating my situation, my challenges helped me gain a better insight on what was happening. I overcame obstacles by doing this. However, I knew and I always do know, that my career is very important to me. I am passionate about what I do and that’s what helps me push forward.
As a model and influencer, what is the message you are trying to send to the people that follow you?
I believe in diversity, I believe in love, I believe in having a good heart and I want my audience to see that. The funny part is, I am also open minded and think that we are all different. So I never like forcing a message down anyone’s throat. But rather presenting powerful messages and my work in the best way I can. Inner beauty and doing what your heart is set on, is something that I really enjoy showing my fans.
What message would you give younger girls that want to follow this career?
Never give up when times are challenging. Theres going to be times where things don’t go to plan in your career. Looking at practical strategies to work out your projects and any challenges is the best way to move forward. I would say this is a professional tip to remember as a business person and as a creative.
Times have certainly been challenging for the whole world as of late. However, everything in life is only temporary, including the ‘not so nice’ things.
I believe we should all keep moving forward and doing our best when it comes to any of our personal and career goals. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel We usually are our own worst critics, which means there’s a very high chance that we are smarter, and braver than we think.
