I am profoundly fascinated by the art of European Renaissance and Baroque. The Dutch Golden Age feels like one of my lives and it has become my true  passion. I love their intricate beauty and mysterious charm.

That’s a really good question. I think it takes me back to my childhood in Poland, I was blessed to have my beautiful parents. They cherished fine arts, galleries and traveling to the world art hubs. As a very quiet and introverted child, I would spend hours in our library flicking through the albums of the old masters and admire their techniques.

I strayed from art into healthcare for nearly 15 years and this year’s turbulent events around the world had me thinking about following my soul desire unapologetically. I decided to own my dreams and go through a new process of transformation.

Who was imperative in your life to help you become who you are today?

In May of this 2020 I got approached by a lady who happened to be a life coach and an entrepreneur, Alba Barrett. I still had no idea what the future will hold for me as I treated my passion for art as a hobby.

Apparently Alba had seen my work on social media so she messaged me asking me if I would create an image for her. This is where my process as a full time artist starts. Alba remained a friend and business mentor for me; I will always be grateful for being discovered and encouraged by her.

Can you share your most challenging experience as an Artist?

I think my most challenging experience so far was the imposter syndrome, the lack of faith in my abilities. It was a really sudden transition from working in mental health into being involved in art full time.

Initially my mind needed time to accommodate this revolution. Fortunately, I have received tremendous support from other creatives, which has allowed me to process this emotion quickly.

Describe a real life situation that served as inspiration to become an artist?

It was actually everything that 2020 has brought upon us.

It suddenly dawned on me that life is an ultra precious gift and time given to us on the surface of this wonderful, blue planet is limited.

I came to a realization that what truly matters for me is to answer the call of my soul and stop compromising.

What are you currently working on to take your career to the next level?

I am working on transferring my artwork onto large size acrylic prints and moving out of the purely digital zone into large images adorning the space.

To all those artists wanting to find inspiration to be where you are today, would you share some words of inspiration?

Block out all the noise.  What I mean by that is, learn to trust yourself and rely on your authenticity.

Hold your vision sacred and decide to walk your own way. There is no such thing as a time limit and a deadline for you to commence your career as an artist. I will be 42 in several months and there has never been a better timing for this transformation.
