How does Feng Shui work for those unfamiliar with it?

Feng Shui is an ancient art form that has been utilized for centuries to help dynasties maintain their fortunes and happiness. It works with the natural forces of the universe and elements of nature to create balance and flow in all areas of one’s life. Living beautifully with modern Feng Shui as a lifestyle simply has taken the ancient principles and integrated them into the lives and environments of today. Its Philosophy is that our homes are a mirror of what’s going on within us . Our spaces are very different now being built in tall skyscrapers, very disconnected from the earth. Elyse, could you expand on how you practice the life changing magic of modern Feng Shui to bring more Joy to your clients lives?

The Feng Shui style I practice raises one’s vibrational consciousness and awareness. It also expands the heart chakra energy by integrating the right colors, elements, and directional placement of the furnishings and art with the specific elements designed for the individual. I have been trained in energy clearing and activation so each consultation sets in motion a new energetic pattern that helps my clients manifest their intentions and hearts desires. It is Life By Design – Feng Shui. As an intuitive channel, this gift assists the process of transmitting information to the client during the consultation for their spiritual evolution.

Being trained in the shamanic Intuitive school of Feng Shui, then later in the classic method,and. after 30 years of working with people coast to coast, selling stuck properties, helping individuals launch purpose

driven businesses, and bringing people together in healthier relationships, I can say it totally works. I use the principles of both systems to help shift the energy and open up new pathways for my clients to experience their lives expanded,happier and more peaceful. What makes it Modern is simply the way it all is executed. The enhancements and cures are all installed as beautiful customized elements. The art and sacred objects all fit in with the overall design and empower the clients energy.

What is the difference between average high end interiors and a truly curated soulful space?

Much of what we are seeing in the current interior design industry which I believe creates a cold impersonal feeling for the residents is the result of a basic disconnect. There’s a misalignment coming from both the client and the designer from what I have observed. The client isn’t connected to what they truly want or even like from a soul level, and the designer is not connecting to their clients on a very personal level, nor asking deeper questions other than the typical surface, visual and lifestyle questions. This occurs because the client is not involved in the process correctly from the beginning. Most design firms have lost the personal connection in operating as a big business. I do see the direction & trend in interior design bringing in more of the sacred so it evokes an emotion and provides a spiritual lift helping people feel they are truly living in a home designed for their soul. My company curates lifestyles, not just spaces. We are holistic in our approach and in order to do that we get to know our clients on a deeply personal level, in the process they get to know themselves on a deeper level. It’s a beautiful soul- inspired synergy relationship.

Chad, how does the business and lifestyle coaching services you provide support the work Elyse does with her clients?

Once people become aware of a new expanded perspective of holistic luxury living, a beautiful transformation begins to take place.
