Can you imagine a world where you are alone, unloved and deemed fashionably undesirable? This was my plight before I saw my true love, my wonderful, woofy human, Mercy. She was my choice – and I was hers, mi amor.
Miss Mercy and her wonderful sons aspired to adopt and love a shelter dog. But they were told to ignore me, because I was old, fat and missing embarrassing clumps of hair. Because I was not perfect and had special needs, including an expensive eye surgery to close my left eye.
Even then, I envisioned a world where I, Jax, would love and be loved. When Mercy, my owner saw me, it was love at first sight. I have never left her side. I now sit next to my faithful mistress every day while she designs beautiful jackets, vests and apparel for dogs everywhere, so they will be as fashionable as their owners. Because we are all beautiful on the inside. Now, we will all be the most beautiful, fashionable dawgs, well-attired for every season and occasion, with style.
