The 37th annual Swim Show took place at the Miami Beach Convention Center on July 13-16, during Swim Week. It’s the longest-running swimwear trade show of its kind, and considered by professionals the best in the world. This year it featured an updated layout and also seminars in the business of fashion.
Buyers travel to Miami from all over the world to attend this event, seeking to instantly access the new collections for the upcoming resort season, Spring Summer 2020. The show had nearly 2,500 brands exhibiting this year, the most prestigious brands in the industry. Not only there were new Swimwear and Resort trends presented, but also many vendors for shoes and accessories as well, as all of this take part on the “full look”.
Swimwear is a strong industry and currently the fastest growing in fashion. Nowadays with the speed of social media, having just a swimsuit is not enough; we want to show it, take photos, style it with different hats and coverups. Hence the reason why we need many options in resort wear as the last goal is to be seen, while on vacation.
We had the opportunity to meet a lot of emerging designers entering this competitive industry and learn about the purpose and goal of their brands.

Eco friendly and Sustainable Fashion are at an all time high, mainly in footwear, as brands are leaning towards using more and more recycled plastic materials.
